Iceland is prone to some pretty bad weather. It was actually remarkably nice during our stay although the heavy, sheeting rain we experienced is considered "nice" by many of the locals.
The Blue Lagoon is a remarkable geothermal spa near Reykjavik. The water is rich in sulfur and silica, forming a white "mud" that feels wonderful rubbed onto your skin. We visited with the group and left feeling relaxed and refreshed.
The food scene is Reykjavik is awesome! We had some great meals here including this dish, grilled puffin breast. Yum! Danielle ordered the horse one night and we all got a taste. Surprisingly tasty!
